Aimee Mai

After working in both accountancy and human resources, Aimee joined CAP as a volunteer in 2008 and never looked back. She loves seeing churches equipped to live out their faith by serving the most vulnerable people in their communities. Aimee lives in South Auckland, with her husband Ben, who just happens to be the Network Partnerships Director.

Sam Garaway

Ben Mai

Network Partnerships Director

Ben joined the CAP team in 2014 after working with Stats New Zealand. Today, he oversees partnerships with CAP's network of churches across NZ, and the development of new CAP ministries. He is most inspired by the stories he hears of lives transformed through the work of CAP and the love of Jesus. He lives with his wife Aimee in South Auckland.

Faith Tudor

Faith hails from the United Kingdom, although as her Dad is originally from Christchurch she feels very much a New Zealander at heart! Leading the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications team, Faith oversees the relationship with the thousands of CAP supporters across Aotearoa, encouraging them with the impact they are making for hundreds of families every year. Faith is married to Alex, who happens to be CAP’s Client Support Manager.

Michael Ward

Michael joined CAP in 2015, bringing a wealth of experience from working in the Credit Industry, Collections and Property Management. As the Director of Client Services, Michael works to ensure every Debt Help client receives the very best help as they journey their way out of debt and into financial freedom. He and his wife Marien live in South Auckland, enjoying the adventure of raising their 5 growing boys.

Abbey Peters

Abbey joined CAP in 2016 after a number of years working with museum and art collections throughout New Zealand. Now as CAP’s Church Partnership Director, Abbey’s heart is to empower the local church to reach their community. She loves journeying with churches; getting to know their vision and heartbeat, and offering support as they consider, pray and plan to run a CAP Ministry in their community. Abbey lives in South Auckland with her husband Mike.

David Gin

Chief Financial Officer

David brings a wealth of financial experience from his 30+ year finance career.
Following two decades in various senior finance roles in Hong Kong, David became the CFO at New Zealand’s largest tax pool firm, and was responsible for a large funding portfolio, as well as planning for the firm’s 3-5 year financial horizon. Now as CAP NZ’s CFO, David loves the opportunity to combine his professional experience and personal passion to help New Zealanders find freedom from poverty. David and his wife live in Glendowie and have three sons.
