Christians Against Poverty is a unique debt counselling charity which works in partnership with local churches to release people from the cycle of debt and poverty.

why work with CAP?
  • CAP's service is completely free of charge
  • CAP offers a range of specialised services and programs which are tailor-made for the individual
  • CAP meets clients face to face to ensure that those who are struggling with debt receive support and community

can CAP help me?
  • CAP has limited centre coverage, so please check centre locations to see if there is a debt counselling centre in your area
  • CAP helps people irrespective of age, race, gender, religious affilation or sexual preference. We help people of all ages, from teenagers to pensioners
  •  As CAP works through a network of church-based debt counselling centres, we can only help people who are in the areas where our centres operate
  • There are several other factors which may affect eligibility for working with CAP. Please contact the CAP team for more information
