Join the National Development team and help drive CAP partnerships with churches up and down New Zealand, helping them reach their communities to release people from debt, poverty and its causes.
All CAP ministries are run in partnership with local churches, and the National Development team is responsible for connecting with church leaders, developing these relationships, identifying how a CAP ministry can fit churches’ needs, and ultimately, forming partnerships with these churches.
The Church Partnership Relations Manager will play a vital role along this road to partnership – and will be responsible for driving growth through quality face-to-face meetings, Church Leader Events and, on occasion, speaker engagements at churches.
Each day could bring a mix of relationship-building over the phone or in person, local or national travel, or event-planning and sales execution.
What makes you right for this role? If you are a champion of the local church, and if you love to meet with people, build relationships and communicate vision – then we want to hear from you!
We’re looking for a PEOPLE SUPERSTAR – this new role is the perfect opportunity for the right person to help set the direction and climate for the CAP Team.
He aha te mea nui o te ao
What is the most important thing in the world?
He tangata, he tangata, he tangata
It is the people, it is the people, it is the people
Over the last 10 years, this Maori proverb has been at the forefront of all CAP does, as we work alongside the local church to release people from debt, poverty and it’s causes.
In this time, the CAP Team has grown, and so too has the need for a People and Culture Leader – to develop our HR, and take our strong CAP culture to the next level!
We need someone who can take this new role on ‘from scratch’ – who can look at the big picture, and work across all teams to pull together people and process. As the People and Culture Leader, you will bring cohesion across the entire organisation, as well as help to set the direction and climate for the Head Office CAP Team.
If you are experienced in building team and culture, have a natural drive for excellence and passionate about serving the poor in New Zealand – this could be your opportunity!
What makes you right for this role? If you are exceptional in dealing with people, have excellent human resource skills, and if CAP’s Cultural Values (Christ-Centred, Professional, Fun, Passionate, Generous, Risk Taking, Compassionate, United), resonate with you, then please apply now!
This role is full-time role based in Penrose, Auckland. Applications close Friday, 26 May 2017.
