"When I'd wake up in the morning I'd be thinking about the bills. I'd be thinking, "There's not enough food, how am I going to provide for my children, how am I going to pay this bill?" There were too many bills and not much money to pay for it. I was very stressed, I didn't know what to do. Sometimes I would cry in front of my kids, other times I would just pull my hair. I was really struggling financially and spiritually. I was very hurt and angry - angry at myself and angry at the world because I wasn't able to look after my kids.

When my Centre Manager Annette called me and told me that she was coming to see me, I was so relieved. I couldn't wait for her to come, I was waiting for that day. I knew because I prayed to God that she would be the answer. During my first visit Annette said, 'We'll just pray for you.' So they prayed over me and she said to me, 'We're here to help.' And I knew straight away that they were going to be the answer to my problem. Now I don't have to worry, because I have the money that I need to look after my children and support them financially.

 

I'm also now a member of Victory Church and there is a big difference to where I was before and where I am now. Thank God for CAP and thank God for Annette! Thank you for what you're doing. It's great."
